Les Vignerons d'Éstezargues from the Gard Region of Southern France, composed of 12 vignerons, work almost entirely organically. Since 2002 they use only indigenous yeasts, without enzymes or sulfites at harvest or in the bottle. Their medium-bodied entry level Cuvée des Galets is amazing value for money, a classic blend of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, it shows up with red fruits, a floral nose and touch of pepper. The Cuvee des Galets pairs well with a big bowl of pasta all'amatriciana or a bavette steak.
