Pierre-Oliver Bonhomme, Sauvignon POB 22

Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme first started making wines with Thierry Puzelat in 2008. Taking on more and more responsibility he eventually took over the domain of around 9 hectares. This representation of Sauvignon is made from POB's own Sauvignon vineyard, the grapes go through direct press and aged in old 400L oak barrels for 6 months. The result is wonderfully floral and fruity while bright and fresh, a really clever wine that you'll want to try.
