Domaine Tessier has recently passed from Philippe to Simon and Marie farming 24 hectares in the Cheverny Region of the Loire. Chemin noir uses one of our favourite grapes to create a fun and playful wine with notes of spice and fruit forward. Whole bunch fermentation and aged in stainless steel tank. Simon and Marie only have a small parcel of pineau d'aunis so this wine is made in small quantity and is in very high demand so we only have a few available. The Domaine Tessier, Chemin Noir is the perfect red for a weekday bottle and would pair well with a plate of charcuterie.
