A stunning dry white wine from the volcanic island of Samos (Aegean Sea, Greece) made by Patrick Bouju for Sous le Végétal, based on the rare Greek grape varietal Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, made on around sixty plots of small-grain muscat from Samos between 400 and 910 meters above sea level. The iodized aromas of muscat à petits grains are elegant, fine and lasting, without the heaviness that the Muscat grape variety sometimes presents. Livia is fresh, mineral driven wine and has a long finish. Decanting is recommended. The Livia pairs well with pork and clams, or Porco à Alentejana.
