Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme, Le Telquel 2022

Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme first started making wines with Thierry Puzelat in 2008. Taking on more and more responsibility he eventually took over the domain of around 9 hectares. Le Telquel is predominantly Gamay grapes with the rest imported from the a vineyard of Grolleau and Pineau d'Aunis. Semi carbonic maceration in wooden vats and then 6 months in old barrels makes a wine that is easy to drink, presenting delicate red fruits with a bright acidity. The Telquel pairs well with a chicken pie or a tomato and mozzarella salad.
