Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme, La Tesnière Pineau d'Aunis 2022

Pierre-Olivier Bonhomme first started making wines with Thierry Puzelat in 2008. Taking on more and more responsibility he eventually took over the domain of around 9 hectares. La Tesnière is 100% Pineau d'Aunis, a wonderful and rare grape mainly found in the Loire region. This wine is aged in futs and demi-muids and is a wonderfully light yet complex vintage with red fruits, white pepper with fresh acidity. The Pierre Olivier Bonhomme La Tesnière pairs well with Penne alla Vodka on a summer night.
