Marto Weiss is a field blend of local grape varietals Bacchus, Faber, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling, Scheurebe, Silvaner. With fantastic acidity from the cool vintage, the Weiss is fragrant, fresh and gives a hint of spice. This white grape cuvée is showing tropical passionfruit, apricots, pears and a hint of spice. A unique skin contact wine that underwent whole bunch maceration with limited extraction, leaving little to no tannins, orange hues and lots of aroma with more clarity to this years vintage, having been racked. The Marto Weiss pairs well with salty snacks like fried courgette fritters with anchovies.
