The 2022 Marto Weiss is our favourite vintage of the wine yet. The warm and dry weather of 2021 summer meant the wine sings in rich tropical fruit notes and has a pleasant roundness to accompany the fresh fruit iced tea notes on the palate. The grapes are a blend of Müller Thurgeau, Bacchus, Scheurebe, Huxel, Würzer, Faber, Riesling, fermented separately and blended before bottling. Two weeks of light extraction maceration and aged for a minimum 1 year, in old neutral oak barrels (1000-2400L). No sulphur is ever used. The Marto Weiss pairs well with roast chicken or heirloom tomato salad.
