The 2022 Marto Manna is a stunningly light, fruit forward red with some white grapes included and white pepper, cherry notes on the nose. A light body and very clean this year, this vintage of the year came out very elegant with no volatile acidity. At the domain everything is handpicked and they mainly do mainly whole cluster pressing, or maceration with ageing for minimum 1 year, in old neutral oak barrels (1000-2400L). No sulphur is ever used. The Marto Manna pairs well with swiss chard cavatelli and parmesan.
