Jeremy Quastana’s wines are distinctive with a firm identity, despite being relatively new to the practice. Varying ages of Gamay and Côt are vinified from a single 2-hectare-plot in Loire - not far from those once belonging to Olivier Lemasson. Lemasson is just one of the winemakers who influenced Jeremy’s winemaking, along with Marcel Lapierre and Clos Ouvert in Chile. These wines tend to be scarce in Europe with Jeremy attending few wine fairs and exporting mainly to Japan, Canada, and the US. We’re lucky to work with him and share these wines with you. His wines reflect his journey as well as the rich clay-limestone terroirs of Loir et Cher. Etiquette Bleue 2024 is 100% Gamay which undergo semi-carbonic maceration before ageing for 6 months in old oak barrels. Juicy and glou-glou with a touch of acidity as well as a pronounced fruit-forward roundness. Etiquette Bleue 2024 would pair well with aged meats and salty cheeses.
