Gazzetta, Rosa Trilli 2022

The Rosa Trilli is a perfect Rosato that we would just drink all the time if we could. Made from Sangiovese grapes at the vineyard site named Osarella, located on a hill above the stunning medieval town of Orvieto. With soils of limestone and clay onto of an old sea bed filled of shells and fossils, the grapes have a beautiful balance of fruit, acidity and mineralogy. The wine underwent just two days on the skins to draw some pigment and complexity and what remains is a delightful light red that’s best served chilled. Made in stainless steel tanks. The Rosa Trilli pairs well with asparagus and fresh cheese galette.
