Gazzetta, Bianco Susanna 2022

The Bianco Susanna is a really fantastic skin contact wine from old Umbrian varietals Trebbiano, Malvasia Toscana. With just three days on skins, it’s one of the lighter oranges that Trish makes, with notes of apricot, stone fruit and a lovely mineral salinity coming through from the old vineyard at Belvedere Bolsena steeped on volcanic soil. The harvested grapes were part of an early pick at the end of August, and underwent elevate in stainless steel. The Bianco Susanna pairs well with Capocollo and fresh mozzarella as an Aperitivo.
