Domaine Tessier, Charbonnerie 2022

Domaine Tessier has recently passed from Philippe to Simon and Marie and La Charbonnerie is the top of the range Cheverny Blanc. Using the oldest Sauvignon and Chardonnay vines on the domain, undergoing malolactic fermentation and aged in stainless steel tanks, this wine presents green apple and pear with citrus acidity. The finish has a saline and stoney quality. This is a wine that is beautiful to drink now and would also age and grow in time. Domaine Tessier Charbonnerie 2022 pairs well with pan fried Scallops or Chicken Primavera
