Domaine Geschickt, Riesling 2022

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. Riesling 2022 is mainly direct press with 10% undergoing 15-day maceration, before being blended into foudre and aged for 18 months. Zesty with underlying tones of flint and barbecued tangerine peel. Riesling 2022 would pair well with pea and mint purée on toast.
