Domaine Geschickt, Pinot Noir 2022

Domaine Geschickt is a wonderful place. This family owned domain has been working biodynamically since 1998 and for the last 10 years Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt have been at the helm. They use horses to work the land and have planted a number of trees to work harmoniously with nature. This pinot noir grows on clay, Limestone, Granite, Blue marls and undergoes an 8-day maceration before being aged one year in Foudres. Cherries, lavender, smokey, delicate with floral notes and savoury finish. This is great wine at this price point. Domaine Geschickt, Pinot Noir 2022 would pair well with chargrilled spatchock chicken.
