Domaine Geschickt, Pfluben 2021

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. Pfulben 2021 comes from the Grand Crus vines of Kaefferkopf and uses Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Pinot Gris. Whole clusters are direct pressed and left to age in Old Foudre for 18 months without fining or filtering. Expect warm citrus notes, ripe apples, linden tea and pineapple freshness.
