Domaine Geschickt, One Drop 2022

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. One Drop 2022 uses a variety of grapes Chasselas, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Riesling and Pinot Blanc. A mixture of direct press and maceration that is bottles with a tad of residual sugar to create a light and pleasing effervescence to the wine. Peaches and chamomile with a slight pull from the tannins creates a sparkling wine at a great price. Domaine Geschickt One Drop 2022 is a great pairing for devilled crab on crostini.
