Domaine Geschickt, Gewurtztraminer (Oxydatif) 2016

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. The Gewurtztraminer is a unique wine matured sous voile for over six years, oxidative style inspired by Jura wines but morefloral, lower in alcohol, and juicier due to Gewürztraminer. This is a deeply complex wine, the Gewurtztraminer Oxydatif 2016 would pair well with a Passionfruit Pannacotta.
