Domaine Geschickt, Gewurtztraminer (Oxydatif) 2016

Domaine Geschickt is a wonderful place. This family owned domain has been working biodynamically since 1998 and for the last 10 years Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt have been at the helm. They use horses to work the land and have planted a number of trees to work harmoniously with nature. The Gewurtztraminer is a unique wine matured sous voile for over six years, oxidative style inspired by Jura wines but morefloral, lower in alcohol, and juicier due to Gewürztraminer. This is a deeply complex wine, the Gewurtztraminer Oxydatif 2016 would pair well with a Passionfruit Pannacotta.
