Domaine Geschickt, 6 Pieds sur Terre 2022

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. 6 pieds sur Terre is a field blend of Riesling, Muscat, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir on clay soils. These are then co-macerated with spontaneous fermentation and aged for 24 months in barrel. This wine is presents fresh elegant citrus but floral, nice white stone fruits with minerality  Domaine Geschickt, 6 Pieds sur Terre 2022 would pair well with roast nectarine and endive salad.
