Domaine Geschickt x Spirale, Alambic & Vignes Vin Liquor 2020

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. Alambic & Vignes Vin Liquor 2020 is a collaboration with Spirale Distillery, made of 100% Gewürztraminer. The mash spend one winter outside in steel tanks, before distillation in dame jaune. This is a delicious sweet wine, perfect to end any meal. Full notes of fermented peach and stewed apricot with a touch of acidity to lift. Alambic & Vignes Vin Liquor 2020 would pair well with Crêpe Suzette and sour cream.
