Domaine Geschickt, One Drop 2023 (1L)

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. Like previous vintages, One Drop 2023 is an assemblage of Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Chasselas and Riesling. Unlike previous ones, this is a still wine with all grapes direct-pressed then aged in wooden barrels for 6 months. Fresh and aromatic nose of nashi pear and elderflower with sweet yet crunchy flavours of underripe nectarine and chamomile. One Drop 2023 would pair well with deviled crab.
