Domaine Geschickt x Cantillon, Scarabé #3

Working biodynamically since 1998, this family-owned domaine has been run by Aurelie Fayolle and Arnaud Geschickt for the past 10 years. Found across 4 hectares in Ammerschwihr, the team work symbiotically with the environment, planting trees to increase ecological diversity and working the land with Iris, their mare. Scarabé #3 is a collaboration between Domaine Geschickt and Brasserie Cantillon, an iconic Belgian brewery specialising lambic and gueuze beers. Gewürztraminer pomace from the Kaefferkopf vineyard is blended with two year old lambic to produce this fruity oude gueuze. Full of classic Gewürztraminer notes of peach, mango and lychee. Scarabé #3 would make a great aperitif, and pair well with spicy croquettes.
