Clovis Ochin, Mira Mira 2022

Clovis Ochin, known for his love of natural wine, rapping and eating his way around Paris with Action Bronson on f*ck that’s delicious, makes his own wine project in Bonastre, Tarragona. His years of learning alongside some of the all time best winemakers, results in his lively and energetic wines that are so much more than hype. This year the wines are mash fermented in cuve (vats) and then in glass damejane with 9 months of elevage and then bottled by gravity. This year Mira Mira is made from 100% pre-phylloxera Grenache blanc grapes. Mira mira has a lighter body and a shorter finish and a moreish crispy crunch with notes of pomegranate on the palate. Reccomended to decant the wine to wave the initial reduction off.
