Le Clos du Tue Boeuf was started in 1994 by Thierry Puzelat, inspired by the legendary Marcel Lapierre, and has gained legendary status as a leader for natural wine in the region and beyond. Now joined by daughter Zoé they make incredible wines, celebrating a lot of the less know local varietals. La Gravotte however is 100% pinot noir and represents the famous grape as it should be. Hand harvested at optimum ripeness with 10 days of carbonic maceration before spending 8 months in oak barrels. The wine expresses red fruits with gentle tannins and a memorable finish. Clos du Tue Boeuf La Gravotte can be drunk by itself, or paired with grilled asparagus or rabbit in mustard sauce.
