Bergkloster, Cuvee Rot 2020
Jason Bergkloster's Cuvée Rot is a great expression of his playful personality. He has a respect for tradition coming from generations of winemaking, but also a willingness to break with it. This juice bomb is made of local varietals Cabernet Dorsa, St. Laurent directly pressed and Regent fermented on the mash. Notes of ripe cherries and black currants make this wine drinkable and easygoing. The Cuvée Rot would pair well with tomato and cottage cheese pie or sourdough pizza.
