As a side project, he leased a 1.09-hectare Sauvignon vineyard, transitioning it to organic practices. Vincent started by selling grapes to our friends at Clos du Tue-Boeuf and now crafts his own “Englouti.” The inaugural vintage is matured in barrels before being meticulously hand-bottled and labeled. The hands-on approach extends from vineyard to cellar. Opting for a human-scale operation reflects his dedication to quality over quantity. As he nurtures his second, third and fourth batch, Vincent remains steadfast in his pursuit of artisanal excellence. He also co-owns a plot of Pinot Noir with his brother that epitomises their shared ethos. Englouti 2024 is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, pressed and aged in old barrels. \u003c\/span\u003eNotes of crunchy green apple, hay and fresh grass with a good acidity and balance.
