Domaine Tessier, Charbonnerie 2021

Domaine Tessier has recently passed from Philippe to Simon and Marie and La Charbonnerie is the top of the range Cheverny Blanc. Using the oldest Sauvignon and Chardonnay vines on the domain and aged in stainless steel tanks this wine presents grapefruit zest, herbs and white flowers. There is a roundness to the wine coupled with a mineral, salty finish. A wonderful wine. Tessier La Charbonnerie will pair well with a gratin dauphinois, grilled salmon and asparagus with beurre blanc.
