VDF The Blanc 2022-2023 is 100% Chardonnay from basaltic soils in Patrick and Justine's hometown of \u003cspan\u003eAuvergne. 12 months elevate in used barrels before vinification through the process of \u003cem\u003egentile distillation,\u003c\/em\u003e which uses slow gravity-based methods to avoid harsh extraction and preserve delicate aromas. This process takes time and produces low yields - grab a bottle of this while you can! A nose of yellow pear, elderflower and fresh rain, this is complex and classically round with an electric acidity alike to underripe apples.
