A pioneer in low-intervention vinification, he has been producing entirely sulphite-free wines for over 20 years in Auvergne, France.\u003cspan class=\"Apple-converted-space\"\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eToday he and his partner Justine Loiseau cultivate several small plots, amounting to approximately 9 hectares, in the village of Glaine-Montaigut. Some of the vines here are up to 120 years old with complex volcanic terroirs. Every aspect of the winemaking process is done by the pair, from hand-picking the grapes to bottling and labelling. G\u0026amp;M 2023 is a blend of Muscat, Ugni Blanc, \u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eChardonnay Musqué, \u003c\/span\u003eViognier, Grenache Gris and Blanc, Gewurtztraminer and Chardonnay. Each grape is vinified and macerated on the skins separately before blending and ageing together in a combination of amphora and stainless steel. This has a super aromatic nose of lychee, mango juice and peach candies. It remains elegant and fresh despite equally fruity flavours of tinned peaches and white jasmine. A low tannin structure makes this an incredibly easy-drinking bottle.
